Back to back draws

After the heroics of last Tuesday away to Tadley in the cup, we've had to settle for back-to-back draws in the league, despite leading in both matches.
Saturday saw us travel to Test Park to face a barely recognisable Millbrook side. We took a lead into halftime from a Jack Odam header assisted by a Joao Aldeano corner.
The second half saw Miles Bartram come to our rescue again as he saved from the spot against Perry Harding but the substitute quickly made amends as he later levelled the game.
The Town thought they had won it late on with young midfielder Harvey Chogugdza restoring our lead with his first senior goal. However, Millbrook salvaged a point when they dispatched a late penalty.

Last night against Amesbury Town started much the same with an early header from Jack Odam giving us the lead within five minutes. The visitors hit back capitalising on a poor backpass before Charlie Hawes restored our lead.
Another defensive mixup allowed Amesbury to level once more but a strike from Odam in first half stoppage time sent us into the break 3-2 up.
Odam then completed his hat trick from the spot in the second half to extend our lead to two.
It turned out to be a dangerous lead as a quickfire double of headers from Amesbury's centre back duo levelled the match at 4-4 leaving both teams to settle for a point much like they had earlier in the season.
Despite dropping four points from the two games, there has been some positive attacking play and it's great to see the Town's young players continuing to impress with Hawes and Chogugdza becoming big parts of the squad at the age of 17.
Jack Odam also shows no signs of slowing down. Our captain and top scorer now has 32 goals for the season.
We return to action on Saturday as we travel to Ringwood Town.
