With all our matches now wrapped up before the holidays, we would like to wish you all a merry Christmas from everyone at Romsey Town.

After our loss to a very impressive Brockenhurst side in the Southampton Senior Cup last night and with the development squad's game off against Weymouth, we have no more fixtures scheduled before Christmas.

Captain Jack Odam who has 18 goals already this season

Our next fixture is on Tuesday 27 December against Millbrook. The match is at home at the AEC Protection Ground. Please note the 3pm kick off time to make the most of that bank holiday. A perfect kick off time for those groundhoppers out there looking to do a double on the day.

After Millbrook we host Fawley the following Tuesday at 7:45pm. It will be good to welcome a few familiar faces back that night.

Aside from league action, there is still a lot to look forward to in 2023. The club continues to blood exciting young talent from the under-23 side. The likes of Toby Gibson, Charlie Hawes and Will Johnson have been a big positive for the first team lately.

Charlie Hawes

There are also a two cup quarter-final matches to look ahead to. In the North Hampshire Senior Cup we have a home tie against Fleet Town. The date is to be advised but it will be a very interesting match-up. The Combined Counties League Premier Division South side have recently appointed Jermaine McGlashan as their manager. The 34-year-old is taking his first steps into management after making more than 300 appearances in the EFL for the likes of Cheltenham Town and Gillingham. The club have recruited heavily since his appointment.

The other is in the Russell Cotes Cup, The draw for the quarter-final has not been completed yet but we've made it this far after back-to-back penalty shootout wins away to Eversley & California and Ringwood Town.

Thanks for all your support this year. Keep the faith. Up the Town!
