Our first adventure in the North Hampshire Senior Cup got off to a flier with an 8-2 win over Overton United.
Having made a couple of changes from the weekend's defeat to Andover New Street, the Town looked to get back to winning ways against the side from the Hampshire Premier League.
In the end, the result never seemed in doubt despite Overton equalising after Jack Odam opened the scoring. At half time it was 4-1 with Odam completing a first half hat-trick and Brad Cooper also on the scoresheet.

With Odam withdrawn at half time, it was time for the younger members of the squad to get on the scoresheet.
Charlie Hawes's third of the season made it 5-1 before the visitors hit back with a goal from a corner.
Will Johnson off the bench scored the sixth before Cooper's second of the game made it seven.
There was even time for veteran defender Liam Hall to mark his arrival off the bench with a close range effort to round off an impressive victory.

The result means the Town now progress into the quarter-finals.
