Pre-season underway and fixtures announced!

Training begins
Last week saw the squad reunite as pre-season training began.
The lads resumed training training on last Tuesday with another session on Thursday. Last Saturday saw an inter-house game between the first team and development squad, with the first team triumphing 5-1.
Training continues this week at Wide Lane with the first official friendly taking place at the same venue on 9 July against Hampshire League side Winchester Castle.
Fixtures announced
Elsewhere, the Wessex League fixtures for the season has been revealed. We start the campaign with a home match against a new look Totton & Eling side on Saturday 6 August. The following weekend we host New Milton Town before a Friday night game under the lights away to Fawley.
Development team pre-season schedule
Our development team have now unveiled their pre-season schedule as they prepare for their campaign in the Hampshire Combination League.
Is the first match against Totton & Eling on Saturday 6th August now a Wessex League game? Previously we were told it was an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round match. Which is correct?
